While Jon Snow received a raven from Daenerys Targaryen to discuss their common enemy, the king of the North has still not heard from his Night brothers that Bran Stark is among them. It appears to be an oversight that Sansa Stark and Jon Snow could not be aware by now about the arrival of their brother. Especially, considering that the new Three-Eyed Raven would have usual insight.
Also, this episode gave fans a steamy love scene between Grey Worm and Missandei. Game of Thrones met their nudity quota for the lack of it in the season premiere.
Euron Greyjoy proved to be useful to Cersei Lannister in his effort to bag her a gift. Also, Cersei was given her strategy on how to battle dragons. Will it prove successful? But seriously, how has Bran Stark news not reached the people of the North? What do you think of the season thus far? Do you like how it is quickly moving to the big picture? In this case, getting a hold of dragon glass to fight the Wight Walkers and having three dragons in your corner to defeat them.
Game of Thrones launched its seventh season with three royal developments: Jon Snow (Kit Harington) rules in Winterfell, albeit with some protest from the people around him. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) holds the throne in King’s Landing, though she lacks meaningful allies. Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) has landed at Dragonstone and is preparing for her move to gain the throne.

The “Game of Thrones” Season 7 premiere broke ratings records on HBO by drawing 16.1 million total viewers, including 10.1 million who watched on the linear channel and the rest coming from DVR and streaming. That represents an incredible 50% increase from last year’s premiere, when the show premiered in the spring when TV viewership is typically higher than the summer.
“Game of Thrones” Season 6 averaged a gross audience of 25.7 million viewers per episode across platforms and in delayed viewing, making it the most watched season of an HBO series on record.
George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic. It’s the depiction of two powerful families — kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men — playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne. Martin is credited as a co-executive producer and one of the writers for the series, which was filmed in Northern Ireland and Malta.
