Heading into the season 24 finale with a perfect 80, Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater dance a combination of the cha cha and tango for their Fusion Challenge. It is also the very last dance of the season. Rashad will also be joining this year’s “Dancing with the Stars” tour.
Bruno Tonioli calls it flashy and vibrant, yet cool and charming. He calls him a dazzling performer. Carrie Ann Inaba says Rashad is “a pro’s dream” and says he has earned the Mirrorball. Len Goodman commends his progression, while Julianne Hough says the combination of the dance and their partnership was the perfect way to end the season. They score a 39.

According to ABC, Jennings “was one of the top NFL running backs in 2015. In that breakout 2015 season, he started every game and set career highs in carries, rushing yards, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He was drafted in 2009 in the seventh round by the Jacksonville Jaguars, where he spent four seasons, was signed by the Oakland Radars in 2013 for one season, and signed a four-year contract with the New York Giants in 2014. Jennings set a Big South Conference record while at Liberty with 3,633 yards, 42 touchdowns, and averaged 5.7 yards per carry.”
Now in its 24th season, “Dancing with the Stars” is hosted by Tom Bergeron and sports broadcaster Erin Andrews. The judging panel is composed of ballroom experts Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli. Their scores, along with America’s votes, determine who gets to stay and who is sent home each week as couples vie for the coveted Mirrorball trophy.
The finalists include Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy, David Ross with Lindsay Arnold and Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater.
