Nicki Minaj Gave Fans Help By Paying For College Tuition Fees And Social Media Loves Her For It


Nicki Minaj was doing some good this weekend by offering fans some help by paying for their college tuition fees. Of course, Minaj stipulated that those seeking help prove that they got straight A’s.


Responding to dozens of requests on Twitter asking for help with money, she said she will do it again in the future. During the twitter exchange, fans sent her screengrabs of report cards and stories of their financial troubles. The majority of the pleas were for less than $1,000 but she apparently agreed to pay $6,000 to one student if he could be prove what it was for. The fan said it was for tuition fees, accommodation, food and books.






At the end of her charity, she joked that if she did not stop with the donations she wouldn’t have “any money left”. All in all, around 30 fans were chosen to receive some sort of compensation for their good grades.








Of course, those on social media saw this as a nice act of charity by the rapper. Many applauded her for stepping up and helping those in need. Recently, Minaj joined the video-dubbing app Musical.ly, issuing a #RegretInYourTears challenge to her fans to record creative videos dancing to her latest single, and then promising to fly out her favorites to hang out in the studio with her or visit with her at the Billboard Music Awards.
