ABC

The next couple to go home in season 24 is Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd, in addition to Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev as part of week seven’s double elimination. David Ross and Lindsay Arnold were also in jeopardy. Nick calls the experience incredible.

Tonight, the couple earned a 34 out of 40 after dancing an action-packed Argentine tango to David Guetta’s “Dangerous” for Movie Night. Nick lost the evening’s dance-off to Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess. Their average score throughout the competition was 29 points.

Their other dances have included a colorful jive to “Fun, Fun Fun” for Boy Bands vs. Girl Groups night, delightful jazz routine to “I’ve Got No Strings” for Disney Night, passionate rumba to “Shape of You” for Most Memorable Year night and tango to Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” for Vegas Night. They also danced a passionate foxtrot and intense cha cha in the first couple weeks of the competition. Their very first score was a 24 out of 40. The judges often critiqued his stiff movements but said he had potential.

According to ABC, Viall has taken many chances to find love over the years. Most recently, he appeared on season 21 of “The Bachelor” and proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi. “One of 11 siblings, Nick maintains close ties with his family. His parents, Chris and Mary, have been married for 37 years. Nothing would make them happier than to see Nick find what they have found in each other.”
